We really want you to enjoy staying in Granary Cottage and your comfort is our top priority.

We all need to be conscious of the impact we all have on the environment at home and also when we are on holiday. 

​

With this in mind, we considered a number of factors for the refurbishment and running of the house:

​

• Our gas supply is 100% carbon neutral and electricity is 100% renewable energy.  Our
  energy supplier is Bulb Energy.  

• We use LED light-bulbs throughout the house.

• All appliances have a A+ energy rating as minimum.

• Windows, doors and insulation have been improved to give the house an overall EER rating of 84% - B.

• We totally upgraded the heating system to reduce our CO2 EIR to 87% - B.

• Cotswold District Council operates a  comprehensive recycling regime

You can help reduce the our environmental impact by following these simple guidelines:

• Maintain realistically comfortable heating levels.

• Use linen for one extra day.

• Only boil the water you need.

• Avoid tumble drying small loads.

• Minimize use and disposal of plastics containers.

• Don't waste food, eat it tomorrow!

• Recycle responsibly.
